1. Application
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the relationship between our company (Glove Story, SA, with a capital of €80,000, registered office: Glove Story, 280 Rue Pouilly Loché – 71000 MACON, RCS MACON B 409 849072) and natural persons of legal age who are non-commercial and domiciled in mainland France, French Overseas Territories, Monaco, and the “Rest of the World” (hereinafter “the Customer”), placing an order on the website http://www.glove-story.com for the products offered therein. Delivery of the ordered products may only take place within mainland France, the French Overseas Territories, Monaco, and the “Rest of the World.”

Validation of any order on this site – which can only occur after checking the box “I certify that I have read and accept these Terms and Conditions of Sale” – shall automatically result in the application of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, to the exclusion of any others.
Any order only becomes final and is recorded by our services once the payment has been validated. Once recorded, the order will be confirmed in writing by us at the email address provided by the Customer.


2. Availability of Products
In the event that one of the ordered products is unavailable, the Customer will be notified by email at the address provided, as soon as possible. Should the Customer wish to cancel their order upon receiving such notification, they must inform our online customer service by returning a message to the following address: “Glove Story, 280 Rue Pouilly Loché – 71000 MACON” within three (3) days of receiving the email indicating the unavailability.


3. Delivery

Delivery Timeframes
The delivery timeframes indicated are provided for informational purposes only. A delivery delay shall not give rise to cancellation, damages, or penalties, particularly in cases of force majeure, strikes (including postal service strikes), suspension of transport or supplies, administrative decisions, computer glitches, or any other event beyond our control.
However, if the sale exceeds €500, the invoice will specify the deadline for product delivery. In the event this deadline is exceeded by more than 7 days, and such delay is not attributable to force majeure, the Buyer may cancel the sale by sending a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to our head office at “Glove Story, 280 Rue Pouilly Loché – 71000 MACON.”

Modes of Delivery
Products are dispatched via LA POSTE’s services (Colissimo) and their local partners in each country, for mainland France and Monaco, as well as for the following zones:

  • Zone 1: Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands.
  • Zone 2: Austria, Spain (excluding the islands), Guernsey, Italy (including San Marino, Vatican City, Livigno, Campione d’Italia, San Marino), Jersey, Portugal (excluding the islands), the Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom.
  • Zone 3: Denmark, Estonia, Greenland, Hungary, Faroe Islands, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland.
  • Zone 4: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Maghreb, Malta, Norway, Romania, Turkey, specific territories of Spain (Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla) and Portugal (Madeira, the Azores), and other Eastern and Central European countries.
  • Zone 5: Australia, Canada, China, South Korea, United States, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
  • Zone 6: Africa (excluding the Maghreb), the Americas (excluding the United States and Canada), the Middle East, other Asian countries, and Oceania (excluding Australia).

Delivery Fees

  1. Mainland France and Monaco (Delivery via Colissimo) – Zone 0
     - Delivery fee of €4.99 (VAT included) for any order under €60 (VAT included).
     - Free delivery for any order over €61 (VAT included).
  2. French Overseas Territories (Delivery via Colissimo) – Zone 0 – Overseas
     - Delivery fee of €9.99 (VAT included) for any order under €80 (VAT included).
     - Free delivery for any order over €81 (VAT included).
  3. Zone 1 (Delivery via Colissimo and their local partners)
     - Delivery fee of €6.99 (VAT included) for any order under €80 (VAT included).
     - Free delivery for any order over €81 (VAT included).
  4. Zone 2 (Delivery via Colissimo and their local partners)
     - Delivery fee of €7.99 (VAT included) for any order under €90 (VAT included).
     - Free delivery for any order over €91 (VAT included).
  5. Zone 3 (Delivery via Colissimo and their local partners)
     - Delivery fee of €8.99 (VAT included) for any order under €100 (VAT included).
     - Free delivery for any order over €101 (VAT included).
  6. Zone 4 (Delivery via Colissimo and their local partners)
     - Delivery fee of €9.99 (VAT included) for any order under €100 (VAT included).
     - Free delivery for any order over €101 (VAT included).
  7. Zone 5 (Delivery via Colissimo and their local partners)
     - Delivery fee of €19.99 (VAT included) for any order under €200 (VAT included).
     - Free delivery for any order over €201 (VAT included).
  8. Zone 6 (Delivery via Colissimo and their local partners)
     - Delivery fee of €25.99 (VAT included) for any order under €200 (VAT included).
     - Free delivery for any order over €201 (VAT included).

Processing and Dispatch Times

  • Orders placed before 4:00 p.m. (French time): Processed on the same day and dispatched within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Orders placed after 4:00 p.m. (French time): Processed on the following day.
  • Orders placed on Friday after 3:00 p.m. and during the weekend: Processed on the following Monday.

Complaints
In the event of partial loss or damage during delivery, the Customer must submit a detailed complaint to our online customer service at “Glove Story, 280 Rue Pouilly Loché – 71000 MACON” within 3 days of receiving the ordered products. In addition, the Customer must register any objections with the carrier and note all anomalies on the delivery slip. Failing to do so will preclude any claim for compensation.
In the case of total loss, the Customer must submit the same complaint to our online customer service.
If the delivered product does not conform to the order, the product must be returned to our customer service (“Glove Story, 280 Rue Pouilly Loché – 71000 MACON”) in its original packaging. It will then be exchanged without any additional cost to the Customer.


4. Price – Payment Terms
Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included, excluding shipping costs, and are based on the economic conditions (including VAT) in effect at the time the order is confirmed. Prices may be revised or supplemented at any time.
Payment is made online by credit card (CB, Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard) and PayPal, with the card being charged only at the time of dispatch of the order.
For credit card payments, our website uses a secure system with encryption of sensitive data.


5. Transfer of Ownership
The transfer of ownership of the goods sold is suspended until full payment of the price – both principal and ancillary charges – has been received. However, the transfer of risk is borne by the Buyer upon delivery.


6. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L. 121-20 of the Consumer Code, the Customer is entitled to a period of 7 working days from the receipt of the products to return, at their own expense, any ordered items that do not meet their satisfaction.
Only products returned in their original packaging and condition will be accepted at the following address: “Glove Story, 280 Rue Pouilly Loché – 71000 MACON.”
The Customer will then be refunded as soon as possible and no later than within thirty days from the date on which the right to withdraw is exercised.


7. Liability
Our company is only committed to a best-effort obligation at all stages—from accessing the website, through the ordering process, to delivery. Our liability cannot be engaged for any inconveniences or damages inherent in the use of the internet, including service interruptions, external intrusions, or the presence of computer viruses.
The photographs illustrating the products offered on the website are not contractual. Our company cannot be held responsible for any errors, including typographical mistakes or discrepancies between screen colors and the actual product.


8. Data Protection (Personal Data)
The information and data concerning the Customer, collected for the purposes of the sale (including through the use of cookies), are essential for processing and delivering orders as well as for issuing invoices. They may also be used to send the Customer commercial proposals from our company or other companies.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act, the processing of these data has been registered with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés). The Customer also has the right to access, rectify, and oppose the processing of their personal data. To exercise these rights, the Customer should send a written request to: “Glove Story, 280 Rue Pouilly Loché – 71000 MACON.”


9. Termination of the Sale
In the event that the Customer fails to fulfill any of their obligations, the sale may be terminated by us at our sole discretion, without prejudice to any claims for damages.


10. Governing Law – Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, failing an amicable resolution, the competent court shall be that of the defendant’s domicile or, at the option of the claimant, the court of the location where the products were actually delivered.
